Cavity wax injection is probably the most sensible money you can ever spend on your classic or cherished car . It is often overlooked at the point of manufacture due to cost implications.
There is moisture in the air all around us, so condensation can easily form in the tightest of cavities quite easily. Once condensation forms it doesn’t take long for the moisture to pool up in completely inaccessible areas .
These are often in panel joins and seams where internal spot welds are from manufacture.
This is the reason most rust occurs on wheel arches, seam lines and sills.
Unfortunately by the time you see it, it has already eaten its way from the inside to the outside surface meaning the only way to repair it involves cutting and welding.
We inject everywhere we can with a high pressure hot wax injection probe fed from pressure pot. It forces hot wax into all the nooks and crannies, displaces any moisture, dries and forms a thick waterproof seal . The wax also has rust inhibitors in the formula so any already existing rust should be stopped. By eliminating the air from the chemical reaction this also helps stop the rust getting any worse.
